“We had a good game plan,” said Nei. “We posted notifications at each building about a month before, and then sent an email to each homeowner one week before we worked on their roof. There was a lot of communication – that was key,” he added.
The project took over four months to complete and required the replacement of 3,000 sheets of plywood decking. In such close quarters among residents, the team’s dedication was noticed. Some residents even inquired of installers about maintaining other parts of the condos, such as a torn window screen or plumbing issue, Nei noted with a laugh.
“Everybody saw how hard it was, and many of the homeowners thanked us for the work,” said Nei.
The Roof
