Company Overview
Bill Feland, president and owner of Preferred Roofing Inc., got his bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University. He worked as a claims adjuster and supervisor for six years, roofing on the side. Dealing with roofing contractors daily, he recognized the need for an honest contractor with roofing expertise. He decided to go full time into the roofing business and started Preferred Roofing in 1993, as a residential and light commercial roofing company. For more than 30 years, he has continued to increase his knowledge of the roofing industry. Preferred Roofing is truly a family operation. Bill learned how to roof by working with his dad as a child. Both of his sons grew up on roofs and around the business. He is proud to now have both of them working alongside him at Preferred Roofing.
