625 Paragon® Cap in ”Off-White” is listed in the CRRC directory, meeting the requirements of the California Title 24, Part 6 compliant, allowing for overall energy savings due to the solar reflectance of the cap sheet.
Installing 625 Paragon® Cap in ”Off-White” can qualify for LEED credits, visit our LEED page for more details.
625 Paragon® Cap ”Off-White” Benefits:
• Reducing energy use: A cool roof transfers less heat to the entire building, allowing the structure to stay cool and uses less energy for air conditioning.
• Reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions: Lowering energy use for cool roofs can decrease the production of associated air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Improved comfort: Cool roofs can reduce the overall air temperatures inside buildings with and without air conditioning.
Composition and Materials:
625 Paragon® Cap is manufactured on fiberglass mat and coated on both sides with an SBS modified bitumous coating and compounded with a fire-retardant stabilizer. 625 Paragon Cap surfaced with ceramic granules for ultraviolet protection and weatherability.
*The calculator used in this calculation was the US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED-NC 2.2 as of August 2007. According to the USGBC Frequently Asked Questions: “Products cannot be certified; however, they can contribute to points under the rating system as a part of a successful submittal.”
**Cool Roof Rating Council ratings are determined for a fixed set of conditions and may not be appropriate for determining seasonal energy performance. The actual effect of solar reflectance and thermal emittance on building performance may vary.
Manufacturer of product stipulates that these ratings were determined in accordance with the applicable Cool Roof Rating Council procedures.
